True Nature

The majority of animals produced for food in the US come from large factory farm conglomerates designed solely to maximize agribusiness profits at the expense of our health, environment, and animal welfare. These Confined Animal Feeding Operations release more greenhouse gasses than the entire transportation sector—directly impacting global warming and its broader environmental impacts. True Nature centers on family-owned Animal Welfare Approved farms that raise animals for food with the highest ethical and environmental standards. To earn certification, farms must raise animals on pasture in conditions that support both their physical and psychological well-being, meeting species-specific welfare standards. Animals are given the space and freedom to behave naturally, engaging in instinctive behaviors essential for their overall welfare. Yet only a fraction—less than 1% of animals raised for food in the U.S. are treated this humanely.

True Nature invites us to reflect on the stark contrast between industrial agriculture and humane, sustainable alternatives—reminding us that ethical choices in food production are not only possible but urgently needed.
